GENERAL INFORMATION:

Advion Cockroach Gel bait is designed to control pest species of cockroaches and is effective against both adult and nymph stages. The slight delay in mortality caused by the active ingredient, indoxacarb, allows cockroaches to conume the bait and return to the harbourage site to contaminate other cockroaches, resulting insignificant reduction in infestation levels.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE :

Use only as directed. Read this entire label and follow all directions for use and follow all warnings and precautions.

TREATMENT RATES FOR ALL USES : 

- apply a minimum of 2 spot of gel per m2 .

- an increased number of spots of gel (up to 5 per m2) may be required under conditions of heavy cockroach infestation,

extremely dirty conditions, or where Oriental cockroaches and American cockroaches predominate.

- several small applications of bait within an area are more effective than 1 to 2 applications of large quantities.

- In some cases a small thin bead of gel bait, 3 mm wide and 5 cm long may be appropriate.

NOTE : 

- A spot of gel bait of 5 mm diameter weighs approximately 0.1 g.

- A spot of gel bait of 10 mm diameter weighs approximately 0.5 g.

- A thin bead of gel bait 5 cm long & 3 mm wide weighs approximately 0.35 g.

- Bait placements should be inspected periodically for consumption or attractiveness and reapplied as needed.

- Where a continuous source of re-intestations is present, establish permanent bait stations and replenish as needed.

SELECTION OF TREATMENT AREAS : 

-Advion Cockroach Gel bait can be used indoors or outdoors applied as a spot or crack and crevice treatment within residential homes, industrial facilities, offices, warehouses, commercial kitchens. hospitals, Schools, nursing homes, hotels, buses, trains, aircraft, retail and commercial establishments as well as other areas infested with Cockroaches.

- Advion Cockroach Gel bait should be applies to areas frequented by cockroaches such as between different elements of construction, between equipment and floors, openings leading into voids and hollow spaces in floors, walls, ceilings, equipment legs and bases, around plumbing pipes, doors and windows as well as behind and under appliances, cabinets, sinks, closets and any other equipments that cockroaches are typically know to hide, 

- Advion Cockroach Gel Bait can also be placed inside approved bait stations, or similar devices, and said devices should be placed in areas where cockroaches are active.

a. Indoor use directions:

• Infested areas should be carefully inspected to determine overall infestation levels, locations of harbourage areas and most appropriate application points.
• Advion Cockroach Gel bait should be applied to areas out of reach of children, uninformed persons and animals.
• Advion Cockroach Gel Bait can be used indoors in both food/feed storage areas&non-feed areas, applied as a spot or crack & crevice treatment in and around residential homes, industrial facilities, offices, warehouses, commercial kitchens, hospitals, schools, nursing homes, hotels, buses, trains, aircraft, retails and commercial establishments, or at suitable placement sites that act as cockroach harbourages.

- b. Outdoor use directions:

• a thorough inspection around a structure may reveal areas where cockroach are gaining access;attempts should be made to remove the access.
• Advion Cockroach Gel bait may be applied as spots or thin beads of bait to pest entry sites such as along windows, doors, between construction elements. sewer areas.along walls, garbage holding areas, or suitable placement sites acting as a cockroach harbourage.

 WARNINGS :

• Store away from food and foodstuffs.
• Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage or disposal.
• Keep in original container, tightly closed, in a safe place.
• keep out of reach of children , uninformed persons and animals.
• Avoid treating areas that are easily accessible to children and pets.
• In case of poisoning, seek medical advice(show this label to the physician).
• wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling.

PRECAUTIONS :

• Avoid applying Advion Cockroach Gel bait to surfaces recently treated with repellent sprays.
• Surfaces treated with Advion Cockroach Gel should not be treated with repellent sprays.
• Do not apply to surfaces that food contacts, nor allow open foods to contact gel material.
• Do not apply Advion Cockroach Gel bait to areas that are routinely washed such as cracks and crevices in tops of tables, food / feed preparation and prepared food holding surfaces as bait could be removed by the washing.
• Do not apply Advion Cockroach Gel bait to surfaces where the temperature exceeds 50C as this could cause the bait to liquefy and lose effectiveness. Examples of such surfaces include, but are not limited to, parts of stoves, ovens. grills, fume hoods, saunas, heat lamps, coffee urns, steam tables, toasters, fryers, dishwashers and hot water pipes. 

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL :

• Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage and disposal.
• Store in cool, dry place inaccessible to children and pets.Do not store in direct  sunlight and do not store at temperatures exceeding 35 C.
• Dispose of in accordance with local and national regulations.Do not contaminate water - ways, ponds, ditches, food or feed with gel bait or empty dispenser.If empty, do not reuse or refill the bait dispenser.
